Tessa Flynn

Tessa Flynn originally from Southbury CT is a dancer and movement educator currently based in NYC. She began her dance training at Woodbury Ballet under the direction of Randyl Errica, where she studied with Alexei Tchernichov for ten years. She holds a BFA in dance performance with a minor in performing arts management from The Hartt School - University of Hartford, earning the undergraduate senior regents honor award for her achievements. During her time at Hartt, she had the opportunity to perform works by Jose Limon, Gabrielle Lamb, Marius Petipa, Katie Stevinson-Nollet, and Stephen Pier. She has trained extensively in the Martha Graham technique, performing in Miki Orihara’s world premiere arrangement of Suite of Dances from Canticle for Innocent Comedians, and Primitive Mysteries at the Joyce Theater, NYC.

Tessa holds videography credits through The Hartt School Dance Division as well as through social media content creation with John Cranko School Summer Intensives. Tessa is also a certified pilates instructor through Polestar Pilates, currently employed by Equinox. She is so excited to be beginning her professional dance career in her first project with Bodies Never Lie.
